WHAT HAPPENS ON MAKEOVER DAY?
Q: How do you decide a rookie’s new look?
“The process starts with watching how they dance—how they move and carry themselves,” says Kevin Ozowski. “Then I look at face shape, skin tone, eye color… It’s not about changing them, it’s about enhancing their natural beauty with a touch of DCC glam.”
So, each cheerleader’s look is personalized. And the results are made to shine both on the field and on camera.
WHY HAIR MATTERS IN THE DCC SELECTION PROCESS
Q: As a DCC judge, how important is hair and style?
“I’m not a dancer, so I judge from a fan’s perspective. What does a stadium full of people see? Confidence and polish,” Kevin Ozowski shares. “Hair completes the picture. It brings out the performer’s energy.”

HOW TO RECREATE DALLAS COWBOYS CHEERLEADERS HAIR
Q: What’s your go-to tip for recreating that DCC volume?
“Velcro rollers, always. Pop them in, spray, let them set, and comb them out with a wide tooth comb,” Kevin Ozowski recommends. “Finish with more hairspray. In Texas, we love big, bouncy hair—and we love our hairspray!”
