It all started when a neighbor cornrowed Renee’s hair for the first time- It was her earliest memory of feeling beautiful. She has had an attachment to hair and its power ever since. She was the family hairdresser by 9 and the community, “kitchen beautician” by 14. After a small derailment for advanced studies and becoming a middle school teacher, she received her cosmetology license by 26. She worked at Arrojo Studio for six and half years and became a Senior Stylist, while honing and broadening her craft. She has learned the bulk of what she now understands about hair, there. She is thrilled to return to something like that kitchen beautician. Only this time, she gets to mix all of what she’s mastered in cutting and styling all types and textures of hair. Drawing from her earliest hairdressing days to my most current. Go as you are to her chair, and she’ll make something great.
